About Dr Dennis Martin

Dr Martin grew up in Rose Creek Minn, Mitchell, Ia and Joplin, Mo. He attended both undergraduate and dental school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After completing dental school Dr Martin trained with dentists from The POS group. During this time he has extensive training in Orthodontics and orthopedic appliances. After completing dental school he purchased a practce from James Dixon in Clinton, Iowa and practice there until 2003. Dr Martin is a member of the American Dental Association, Nebraska Dental Association and Lincoln Dental Association, and Academy of Sports Dentistry. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and now is an AGD Master. Continuing education keeps his passion for dentistry alive, and enhances his skills to benefit his patients. He is in the 2020 Who’s Who in America. In 2011 Dr Martin started running in the process of getting fit. In 2015 he finished the full Lincoln Marathon and has finished 21 half marathons as of 2018. Also now that he challenged himself with fitness he also is learning to dance. So far doing West Coast Swing, Argentine tango, Salsa, country 2-step, and Waltz. He also is a regular volleyball player and bicycle rider. In 2014 you may have seen Dr. Martin’s halloween display on Channel 8 News. He has made an impressive collection of homemade woodworking items and holiday displays built by Dr. Martin. Dr Martin owns a King Charles Spaniel dog named Kinzie.
